NNPC RECRUITMENT:Beware of fraudster

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) operates in a joint venture with Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Total and Eni. The oil business industry can be lucrative and many people want to build their careers in this field. Consequently, there are many fraudsters who might want to take advantage of this desire. 

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. has released a statement aimed at informing prominent members of the community about some important issues. The first thing is that this corporation is not undertaking any personnel recruitment. The second one is that Nigerians should be watchful because of fraudulent activities. Members of the general public have been lured into attending fraudulent job interviews.
It was also disclosed that fraudsters now use very sophisticated means to capture the interest of people. For example, they were sending various text messages, using social media networks as well as forged messages. This is all was done with one purpose in mind - to lure trusting members of the general public for job interviews. However, understand that this is not the corporation’s recruitment exercise or their means of selecting candidates.

In connection with this, we would urge you to be consider the following: The Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. is not recruiting for any position at the moment. So, you should disregard any message asking you to make payment transactions of any kind for the provision of future employment. Avoid any doubtful invitations for job interviews. The NNPC will make public statements about all vacant job opportunities whenever the corporation starts a new recruitment program. General public, in particular, trustful applicants, should beware of frauds. Invitations to the NNPC Towers, Abuja, or other affiliated companies which are related to the Corp. should be ignored.
